Fit out of Gym over two floors of the Jervis Shopping Center..

The scope of work included the conversion of a number of retail units over two floors into a gym in Dublin’s city center. The project involved the fabrication and installation of a new internal steel staircase. A series of studios were constructed, complete with acoustic walls, including a Polar Studio. The site presented numerous challenges given its location adjacent to the Luas line. All deliveries of plant and materials had to be co-ordinated with the management team of the Jervis Shopping Center. A full mechanical and electrical design package was designed by Lovebuild Construction Specialists and submitted for approval to both the clients design team and the Jervis Center team prior to the completion of the installation. Lovebuild Construction Specialists worked closely with consultants from both the clients design team and the Jervis Center to satisfy the requirements with respect to D.A.C. and FSC. This included the design and installation of a Fire Detection Alarm System which had to interface with the Jervis Centers’ building management system.
